First Non-US Board Member of the Objectivist Party

I, Jonathan Jakobsen, was on the 4th of August appointed by Dr. Tom Stevens to be one of the board members. I feel great pride in being the first European on the board, and I also feel that since Objectivism isn't only a US based philosophy, progress can reach out to all over the world. We all know that there are Objectivists in every country. Some of these know it, some do not. But that is why we are here. To spread the message. To tell people to use reason to base choices and opinions on.
I have never met anyone who has been an Objectivist in Europe, besides my father. Under the wing of Dr. Stevens, we will, as a party, further the great ideas of Ms. Rand throughout the world.
One private bank in Denmark has already taken a step in the right direction. The Danish bank, Saxo Bank, published 10,000 copies of "Atlas Shrugged" in 2003. The bank, which might be more known for it's ProTour cycling team, then sent most of these copies to politicians, political activists, mayors, businessmen, and other leaders in Danish society.

I am very proud to be trusted and suited for the mission of furthering Objectivism throughout Europe.
